Rotini & Tomato Sauce
- Serves 4
- 1 1/2 cups rotini pasta
- 1 1/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 cup onion,chopped
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- vegetable oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- salt and pepper
1.Heat the oil in the pressure cooker.
2.Add the onions and garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
3.Add ground beef, and cook until browned.
4.Stir in uncooked pasta, sauce, and broth.
5.Season with salt and pepper.
6.Close and lock the lid in place. Heat on high until pressure builds and the indicator rod rises to maximum pressure.
7.Turn down the heat, cook for 7 minutes.
8.Turn off the heat, and release the pressure by slowly pressing the button on the handle.
9.Once all pressure is released, open the lid.
10.Add mozzarella cheese and serve.
