  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation Instructions

1.Heat the oil in the cooker, add the rice and stir to cook. Stirring controls foaming. Add in the water and salt.

2.Close and lock the pressure cooker lid in place.

3.Heat on high until pressure builds and the indicator rod rises to maximum pressure.

4.Turn down the heat. Cook for 3 minutes.

5.Then turn off the heat and let the pressure naturally come down, but do not exceed 7 minutes.

6.If there is still some pressure inside, release it by manually pushing the tab on the handle.

7.Once all pressure is released, open the lid.

8.Let sit for a couple minutes before fluffing with a fork.
