Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice
  • 2 cups water
  • (1 : 1 ratio)

Preparation Instructions

1.Rinse rice gently. Place in pressure cooker with water.

2.Close and lock the lid in place. Heat on high until pressure builds and the indicator rod rises to maximum pressure.

3.Turn down the heat.

4.For white rice, cook for 5 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let the pressure naturally come down.

5.For brown rice, cook for 20 minutes. Then turn off the heat, and release the pressure by slowly pressing the button on the handle.

6.Once all pressure is released, open the lid.
