Ingredients

  • Serves 6
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs

Preparation Instructions

1.In a large bowl, mix thoroughly all ingredients (except the brown sugar and ketchup).

2.Shape into a perforated steamer insert being careful not to press too hard. Top with ketchup, then with brown sugar.

3.Add water in the cooker up to the minimum fill line and place the tripod inside. Place insert, elevated, on tripod.

4.Close and lock the lid in place. Heat on high until pressure builds and the indicator rod rises to maximum pressure.

5.Turn down the heat. Cook for 25 minutes.

6.Turn off the heat, and release the pressure by slowly pressing the button on the handle.

7.Once all pressure is released, open the lid.

8.Slice and serve.
